Introducing Neutron

The Neutron Application Server is a self-contained, Apache-based, PHP development host for Windows.

By using a FastCGI configuration, Neutron provides a fast, thread-safe hosting environment for PHP applications on Windows servers and workstations. All server configuration options are instantly accessible via the Windows start menu and Windows, Apache and PHP configuration files may be edited quickly using the built-in Neutron Editor. Web server control is quick and simple using the Apache services monitor and new applications can be created easily by simply copying one of the available application templates.

Neutron supports application configurations based on Apache aliases and virtual hosts (equivalent to virtual directories and sites in IIS) and provides configuration templates for each allowing new applications to be created quickly and easily.
